Effective January 5th, the Legion will be open from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Mondays with no kitchen. Members are welcome to bring in food if they would like.

The Royal Canadian Legion of Canada is celebrating it's 100th Anniversary in 2026
We are looking for members who would like to be on the organizing committee for our local celebration. If this is something that you would be interested in please send Heather an email and she will add you to the committee.
New Members
In honour of the Royal Canadian Legion 100th anniversary, Dominion Command has stated that new members who sign up after January 1, 2026 will receive one year free membership. Membership fees will resume for new members after December 31, 2026. If you know of someone who would like to join the Legion ask them to come into the Legion and fill in a membership application.
The Legion Veteran Welcome Program
Supporting Canadian Veterans with a FREE one-year Legion Membership. Currently serving or retired CAF and RCMP members who have not yet joined are eligible to receive their free first year of membership with the Legion. The free first year of membership is also open to spouses, children 18+ and parents or guardians of Canadian Veterans. Learn more and join today Legion.ca/welcome.
Legion General Meetings
Every 2nd Thursday of each month except July and August. All members are welcome. If you would like to learn more about what the Legion does please join us.

BINGO'S BACK!!!!
We're back!! Thursday's, 7 - 9 pm, card sales start at 5:30. The kitchen is open until 7:00 p.m. to accommodate all who would like to have something to eat before the start of Bingo!

The Legion will be serving breakfast on Saturdays 11-2 and Sundays 10-2.
Dinner Preordering
Effective immediately preordering of dinner specials will no longer be accepted. You must be present in the Legion to order dinner.
South Delta Meals on Wheels
South Delta Meals on Wheels is a non-profit charity that delivers fresh meals to your residence Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The cost is $8.50 per meal. Their drivers often provide social contact for persons who may live alone. They provide service to Ladner and Tsawwassen. The food is made by Kin Village kitchen. Please contact Deltassist to inquire how you might receive their services. Their number is 604-946-9526.
Honouring Our Veterans
Upcoming volunteer opportunities - Legion volunteers make it happen!!
The Legion is looking for 2 members to serve as alternate Zone delegates, Zone meets four times a year and your attendance would only be required if one of the regular delegates cannot attend. We have extra uniforms here (as they are required to wear to meetings). Please let Heather know if you would like to be considered.
The Poppy campaign is looking for volunteers for twice a week poppy routes (checking boxes at retailers). If you are interested in getting involved please let Heather know!

Entertainment Committee Members Needed
The Legion is seeking people to participate in an Entertainment Committee. This committee would be responsible for not only booking our Friday night bands BUT also for planning different entertainment ideas for the weekends here at the Legion. Choose to Move
Crafted by the Active Aging Research Team at the University of British Columbia, Choose to Move has transformed the lives of 10,000+ individuals aged 55 and above across 65+ communities in BC since 2015. Delivered in collaboration with 100+ non-profit partners, this program offers participants free one-on-one consultations with trained coaches to set health goals and develop personalized activity plans. Eight engaging group meetings provide a supportive environment for group discussion, encouragement, and learning with coaches covering various health topics. Choose to Move is not a fitness program.
